Anyone have accuracy issues with the Accurite thermometer humidity gauge?
I have been using the normal popular standard Accurite Thermometer/Hygrometer (the one with indoor/outdoor temps, wired probe and humidity).
Temperatures are pretty accurate when verified with my temp gun, but the humidity is way off (low). Only had the unit for a couple of months. Humidity reading on the unit used to be pretty spot on (as verified by a separate hygrometer I use for work), but yesterday I noticed that the Accurite was reading 40% and barely moved when I sprayed the enclosure. Let it sit for about 30min and the Accurite still showed in the 40's but my handheld hygrometer was showing well in to the upper 60's (which is ok by me, Jake is in Blue) and condensation formed inside the tank.
Temp and humidity inside a BP tank isn't any more extreme than normal house use I wouldn't expect that they would crap out after only 2-3 months.
Thoughts, anyone experience this? Cheap enough I'll just grab another one off Amazon.

I have a dozen of these all in one wireless/no probes units.

They are usually 2 points within each other on both temp and humidity.
The downside with these is that if they are urinated on or get water directly on them they are usually ruined. The display will read some negative or partial display. It depends upon which display or probe gets wet.
Fortunately Walmart and Amazon have these for just 10-12 bucks.
