Thick ruff stuck sheds?

Ok my 1 Leopard had shedding problems for the last 5 sheds and everytime it's super thick feeling unlike others and you can always see his patterns in the shed skin very Cleary and I also soak his tub when I see him in shed and it never comes off fully just in lots of bits and lots is always still stuck to him and I've used the shedding aid that's supposed to help that problem and has with other snakes and I've never had the shed problem again with them but my Leopard always has the worst problems next shed if it's the same I'll grab pics but I'm going to check my fb as I think I posted it their

This is what usually happens but sometimes he has a bit more off but the bulk is mostly stuck

This is him after an about 35 minute soak and 20 mins in a wet pillow case that did nothing so I put him in a wet tub with some ruff rock like water dishes and basking rocks and within 15 mins he looked like this because the ruff surfaces helped alot in rubbing http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...5ea4be80e5.jpg

The snakes humidity is obviously not high enough. If you have been trusting a gauge you may want to check its accuracy.

As for the snake I would add moist moss to the hides and keep it damp for a week or two. Shedding problems are not created overnight and they are not fixed like that either.

At the first signs of shed again make the moss moist and keep it that way until the shed is complete. Then you can allow the moss to dry out before making it damp again. That cycle should get you prefect sheds.

What kind of substrate do you use? Usually when I see the blue eyes I spray heavily and get the humidity up probably around 100% or so until they shed out. I use Reptichip substrate that holds the humidity well. If it dries out during a shed I get a similar problem. Usually I just spray down the substrate and get the humidity up and they finish their shed with no issues. I've only soaked my large Reticulated python a couple times, and usually I add Betadine Iodine to the water and get the water about 90-95F. For some reason he wouldn't shed out even after a few days at high humidity.

His humidity is fine and I don't use gauges and i even soak his tub when in shed till he is out and it never comes off fully and I've had him on wood chips aspen and paper towel hoping the wood chips would help but didn't and also he has a moist hide box only one of my snakes that needs it but he rarely goes in he rather squeeze on top of it till he is stuck up their and what I'm looking for is reasons why he is having these problems when all my others don't and my other main concern is why is it soo thick it's like as if you took 2 or 3 skins and put them together

I would stop soaking and switch to moist moss. This makes each hide a humid hide and gives the snake all the humidity it will need. Don't give the snake a choice. Place moist moss in all the hides.

I do this for my BP and I don't ever have to mist the cage.

It sounds to me like the snake has not recovered from the bad sheds. Like I said, it doesn't happen overnight. I think it needs an extended period of good humidity and a few good shed to get on track.

He has the moist box all the time not just while in shed and why I do it with my others and it keeps them shedding fine just not this guy well not as much but if I don't add the water when he is in shed he won't shed at all

Can't hurt to try.

Giving one humid hide is good if the snake uses it. If they don't it is useless. That's why I just add moist moss to my hides already in use. Nice and easy. That way the snake is guaranteed to use it and soak up the humidity.

No no no it will hurt lol my pride nah I'm joking but yea most people are like one sided and don't care what you so only what they do and the way I care for my snakes is a combination of alot of a different things breeders said and put into one till it works for me
