    RIP Junior ( 12/30/16 ) Cause: Regurgitation Problem :(
feel so sad today, its like the end of 2016 is not good for me. I've heard a lot of people die and I've seen a lot of people that are special for me die withot reason. For me, 2017 would not be a good year for me, i know. It is bad that for me good things happen to bad people and bad things happen to people like me. I have been good to a lot of people lately and THIS happens to me. It's soo sadd. I feel like crying but I can't. Well, we can't mourn forever, right? We just have to look life in a different angle now. I lost someone I care for. I hope he is in good hands now. Goodbye Junior!

Maybe he could'nt digest the mice properly so he puked it out. Maybe that was the reason for its death. It all happened unexpectedly, I woke up early in the morning to check him out. I noticed a bad smell and as I open his enclosure, It was a mess. :(

Regurgitation is often a last minute reaction before death, so it is entirely possible that it had nothing to do with the animals death. Another reaction people see is the animal biting itself. This again is likely a reaction before death and not the cause. If the animal was continually regurgitating, that would be a different story.

    Sorry for the loss.

Hello Warren, Im not sure what could be the cause of his death. When I opened his enclosure, he was coiling in his water dish. It was full of excretement and his meal was there. I tried moving him but it was too late :(

Sorry to hear that. This does not sound like a regurgitation caused death. That and the defecation is just a last minute reaction. Sadly with many reptiles, determining cause of death can be difficult.

I dont know what could be the possible cause of his death but I appretiate all your replies and answers. Even though that this tradegy happened to me, that does not stop me from loving and caring for animals, especially snakes. I was thinking about purchasing another hatchling but I cant pick among these morphs (Pastel/Fire/Pinstripe). Happy Keeping! :)

Sorry to hear the loss but if you are thinking of getting another one and you didn't have a necropsis done, I would use bleach on the old enclosure and scrub it really well and probably would throw out any hides or anything and get new ones. You have no idea what caused the snakes death and if it was some 'germ', the new snake could potentially catch it too.
