Enclosure advice for my new RTB...

I've been shopping for a nice RTB for a couple weeks now. I have dabbled with the BCC and BCI differences. Looked at a few "Tara" BCI bit I always fall back to the BCC Monster tail lines...
In the meantime, Ive gathered the necessary goodies but I still can't decide on an enclosure. I was hoping for some advice. I'll be getting a 2016 hatchling or juvie. My question is enclosure size. Do I stick to something small and effective until the he outgrows ot or by the big enclosure and let him grow into it? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated...do they need security like my ball python? What types of substrates work for you? Just one hide or two?

I am deciding from two different lines: jungle het snow is the first and the second is pasteldream monster tail het Kahl albino...both are gorgeous but that monster tail has the extra pop I'm looking for, planning a "simulated natural" habitat. I have a cpl 20 gal tanks I could easily setup for him but still haven't made an enclosure decision! Thank you...

I personally love Animal Plastics cages. If it was me, I would just go big now and go for a T25. But if you want, a T10 will work too. Here are my T10s with sliding glass doors, shelves, locks, LEDs AP installed and flexwatt

As for substrate, I've used aspen for years and it works good but recently I switched to coco husk. The stuff in there right now is the Exo Terra stuff but I got 3 bricks of the ReptiChips that i'm going to try in a month or 2 when I change out the stuff they are on now. It works awesome though, give great humidity and kills the smell of poop and pee. Only downside is unless there is urate, its hard to find any liquid pee. That's why I think i'll do a 1.5 month full cleaning of the stuff as i'm kind of OCD about keeping my snakes clean :P

Adding all kinds of things into your "collection" huh?... go with animal plastics. My t10 is on the way for my Brooks king. They cost a pretty penny, but from what I've heard, they are well worth it for any of the bigger species.

And when I say "bigger", that's relative lol. Obviously for the REALLY big species, you'd want something larger. I'm just referring to the 6-7 foot range.
