    Bitis nasicornis
Since I never actually started a thread to post and follow with our latest (last?) venomous addition to the hot room, here's a nice shot I took last night of our Bitis nasicornis (Western Ghana Rhino Viper) coming out from his shed last night!

    Cheers

lol thanks. Yeah they are either really pretty or really ugly depending on individual taste and locale. These are from a Locale that retain their colors into adulthood and make incredible examples. The other famous ones are Uganda and Congo locales. My friend has examples from everywhere so it's nice to see.

Two hours in a warm bath. One big bowl movement and a fresh shed later :)

Western Ghana - a small population that Erik at fascination imported a small number of this last import. They tend to hold their greens and reds as adults far better than the eastern and central Ghana. But still a lot different than Ugandans and Congo.
