    laying in water
i have had my bp for 3 weeks and 2 days now. I fed her for the 4th time yesturday and sense then she has spent a lot of time in her water dish. in the first 3 weeks the only time she went near it was when getting a drink. So far she has not shed so i am guessing a shed is near but her eyes are not cloudy/milky and she is not getting a dull color. i have noticed a couple times that she rubbs her nose on certian ruff spots. should i expect a shed in the near future or is it that she just prefers the cooler water to cool down. My temps are perfect. 92 hot side and 82 - 84 cool side and my humity is right around 60%.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's going to shed. Right before the shed they go back to more or less normal color, so you may have missed the blue phase.

Some snakes just love soaking in water. Sometimes though, if a snake has a mite infestation or other parasites, the water offers some relief and they'll spend a lot of time in it. You may want to check the snake over for parasites, just in case.
