growing like crazy

i measured my BP for the second time yesturday and in 7 days it grew 2 ". thats crazy because when u look at the snake or handle him, it sure doesnt seem like he has grown much if any. Total legnth is now 19 " so i am anxious to see if he will hit 21 " buy next sat. i also feed him a small adult pre killed mouse today for the first time. it was the 4th meal for him but was the first mouse of that size and he seemed to take it down just as easy as a fuzzy.

Um.. I think you must have measured wrong, because even for a BIG snake like a burm, growing 2" a week isn't normal.. let alone a ball python.

Don't worry, it's hard to measure them boogers!

yeh i thought 2" seemed way to much. it is very hard to measure them. i try ussing a string but its so hard. anytime she is still she is ussually curled in a way that some parts are over lapping, and when she is not curled, she is too active. i will try again this week.
