    "fancy" ball at petsmart
must have been feeding day; the snakes were out and active. i always check on the little guys and they're usually doing okay, but i've never seen a "fancy" ball at my location. just wondering what they consider fancy, no intention of buying. thanks!

The "fancy" ball pythons at my local pet petsmart are all just normals.

That one looks pretty high yellow. Not sure what it might be if it's not a normal.

it was pretty darn high yellow, which made me want to ask the forum. thanks for your input, i'm only starting to be able to eyeball morphs.

Yeah I've seen those "fancy" ball pythons too at my petsmart, but really, I think they are mostly pastels.

I've seen a pastel labeled as a genetic stripe there. SMH.

Most of the 'fancy' ball pythons at my PetSmart are pastels, Mojaves and butter/lesser.

My Petsmart occasionally has ones similar to this. I was there today and they had a Mojave. They sell the normal for 79.99 and anything other than that is usually marked for 159.00 or higher. After my first expo where I saw baby normals going for 15-20 by the end of the weekend, I knew I'd never buy a snake in a box store. lol.

prices at mine were the same. it's crazy yet sad how they try to squeeze profit from those babies. i'm glad my store seems to take decent care of them. almost all morphs i've only ever seen online, so seeing one IRL was almost startling. then of course i sat there and tried to figure it out; i thought it was pastel! 😀
