Eyelid Bump
Hi all, wondering if this is vet-worthy or fairly common. My male banana pastel has a bump or maybe a growth on his eyelid that I noticed tonight. It's not hard, and he doesn't have mites. Looking at old photos I've taken of him, it looks like it's been there for awhile (at least 2-4 months, maybe longer), but has grown a bit to the point where it's more visible. Doesn't seem to affect him, and he's not head shy so I was able to get a pretty good look at it. Not red, no scabs or other injuries, no oozing or discharge... looking for opinions before I freak out and take him to the vet if it's something I don't need to be concerned about, but I do have a good exotic vet in my area. Sorry if the image links don't come through, having trouble figuring out Flickr.

Background information: hatched November 2015, got him February 2016, about 700g, temps and humidity are spot on, currently housed in a 41qt tub. Normal behavior, good eater, perfect shedder, but he is a f/t drop feeder. None of my other snakes have any bumps like this.

Re: Eyelid Bump
I'm not quiet sure what that is ... Any chance of it just being a odd little deformity? You said it's been there a while at least 2-4 sheds right ? I personally cannot see any scars that would make me believe it was maybe a rodent bite or precious injury to the area... Is it hard like a abscess ? Still pretty weird area to get some kind of abscess... I'm stumped to be honest sorry I'm not much help I have personally never seen a bump like that near the eye. I guess maybe a vet trip ... Just to confirm it isn't some random infection for what ever reason. Just really odd spot. Sorry I couldn't of been more helpful. Keep us posted what you find.

Re: Eyelid Bump
Honestly I'm thinking a deformity or some kind of little growth. It's not hard at all, just fleshy. That spot has always been a little lighter in color, but slowly growing. Can't find anything online about bumps like this one, though, that's why I'm concerned.
He's never been fed live, so it couldn't be a bite, and he's never been injured, but maybe could have scratched that area on a piece of coconut coir or maybe some of the cork I used to keep in with him? But, I've never noticed an injury, and he's a healthy little guy otherwise. Vet visit looks like it's in the cards just for my piece of mind. Really hope it's not an infection or some kind of tumor.
