    Rat problem...
    Hey guys!
so last week I was thawing a rat for my snake who usually eats frozen thawed mice. I made the mistake of thawing it out directly in the water instead of in a bag, and when Ernest didn't take him I tossed him back in the freezer being short on time. I know this was a dumb mistake, I just wanted to avoid rat smell and wasn't thinking.
now I have a rat frozen solid to the floor of my freezer-not ideal. Any ideas on how to get him out other than just turning off the freezer and waiting?
i only use the fridge for my food-freezer is just for mice so I don't wanna turn off the whole thing. Any recommendations would be appreciated haha

I don't know how frozen it is, but you could try scraping it off the floor with something like a paint scraper?

    Welcome to the forum Snoot.

No need to shut off the freezer. If the item will not readily pry away, just pour hot tap water all around the area that is stuck. It will pry away quickly after a few tries.
