    It seems to me that the tendency for a ball python to be aggressive or not is more of a personality trait of an individual snake. Handling or not, a mean snake is just going to be mean.

    You would be surprised how often snakes in large collections are actually handled. Between cage cleanings, health inspections, exercise, weigh-ins, photo shoots, having friends and family over to look at the snakes, and just taking good ole time to myself to enjoy the animals in my collection, my snakes get handled probably a lot more than they should.

    I have some snakes that are just nasty and others that are as sweet as can be. Although, a lot of them seem to not like Vaughn for some reason! :P

    I like to take my snakes outside and let them crawl around, but as long as you take them out of their enclosure and let them crawl around they are getting exercise.
