    poop stuff
2.5 year old male CA BCI
ok, with an empty system, he ate on 10/24, no poop, ate again on 11/21, as of today, still no poop.
I'm wondering if a warm bath would be appropriate at this point. His behavior has been normal, no distentions or bulges, his vent looks good, i'm just getting a little concerned, and i wanted to feed him again next week but am very hesitant to do so with two meals of wastes still in him.

I soak my boas a week or so after eating and it works for me Everytime. If not he takes for ever to poop And leaves me a nice surprise in his water feature

He finally pooped! It was a nice healthy big one, looked and smelled just right, nothing unusual or troubling, and an absolute ton of urate as well! But wouldn't you know it, he's such a sweet guy – he left it all right in the middle of the paper towels instead of smearing it up against his climbing branch or hide; god, I love this snake!

I've never worried about my snakes going to the bathroom, I feed twice a week. They go when they need to, I've never had a problem...

Yeah, I wasn't really worried worried, but before this he had never gone more than 10 days without pooping. And I know his metabolism slows down in the winter, and he wasn't acting weird or showing any signs of discomfort or sickness but it's still a little bit disconcerting when he goes seven times as long as usual. But it's still early days with us, not even a year with him yet, so just a learning experience I guess.
