Zoo med heat pads

So my snakes heat pad of like 3 years finally started to malfunction and not heat up very well.. So I got another one, one I haven't used before. A zoomed heat pad that you stick to the tank. But it's not very sticky.. I put a little bit of electrical tape on each corner of the heat pad. Is this safe? And yes I have the heat pad hooked up to a thermostat. I just want to make sure it will be safe for her

The best way to do this is this.

1. Cover the sticky part on the uth with foil.

2. Attach the uth with aluminum foil duct tape.

This allows you to remove and move the uth if ever needed.

Electrical tape is not a great tape to use long term as it will become brittle and loose its grip.
