HOUSING: rack/tub system OR T8 type?
I thought we already had a thread discussing those... But I cannot finds it. Alas my question:
Which one is better for me?
Right now I have 2 BPs: adult in a large Exo-Terra enclosure and a 380 g juvenile in 20G aquarium. Thinking about getting more animals eventually but probably 5 is the max.
Not going to breed, strictly pets.
Space is not an issue as they have their own separate room.
Right now I lean toward T8 type simply because I don't know any better but open for any suggestions.
Thanks!

My BPs are in T8 enclosures. I think they look nicer than a rack setup, and you can add more hides and decorative items, but the snakes won't mind either way.

As said, it's all up to you. Display cages are for your benefit, not the snake's. A rack will give you the most storage for the footprint, but you don't get to see your snakes without physically taking them out. I personally have both, and keep my more interesting members of the collection in display cages. Granted, they don't come out of their hides much but when they do it's nice to watch them do their thing.

Personally, I will probably never use a rack for anything other than hatchlings just because I don't like them. I like the ap cages. They stack, they work well, and they look pretty. They take up a bit more room but they're much more suitable than tubs for things like boas and carpets that like to climb. And if you ever decide to completely switch which species you work with it'd be easier to just redecorate the ap cage.
