    Baby retic gone off food?
So I've had my new girl who is my first retic and she's absolutely tame. I've handled her around twice a week after letting her settle in, and she's been with me for about 2 months now. I've been feeding her f/t and she's taken for the entire time I've had her minus this past week and a half, she just suddenly won't eat and nothing about her husbandry has changed. Also her behavior is off too I noticed, because she used to poke her head out of her hide and be more active in general. Figured she was just going into shed but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Should I be attempting live? Her husbandry is 79-81 cool 90 hot 60-70% humidity.

Also adding on to that she shows no interest in the food anymore she would poke her head out and try to find the rat, but now she will just sit in her hide.

Also she's a white phase so I might be freaking out over nothing and she's just shedding which is what I originally thought with how she was acting.

My guess would be shed cycle. Some will eat in shed and some won't. Belly turning a little pink at all? Age? Size?

White snakes are generally hard to tell when they shed. You have to look closely and you will notice they either get kind of pinkish or they get dull in color. All of my white snakes get dull in color which is how I can tell.

I would guess its a shed for your retic. Some wont eat in shed, some will. My little guy eats like a freakin horse. Shed, no shed, he doesn't care. He eats anywhere anytime and anything lol. Tonight will be Caesar vs chicken so stay tuned!!!

Lol that's what what figured thanks for the reassurance none of my other snakes are white and they all eat in shed so I was panicking as I'm not 100% familiar with her behavior yet she's just a little 2016 born worm right now and I'm super excited to watch her grow up. And Caesar vs chicken you make it sound like a boxing match always interesting to watch them feed on all sorts of different things they're like little meat garbage disposals

Lol they are. Caesar eats pretty much every 4 days in shed or out of shed lol. The breeder told me he ate anything anytime. He was right lol. If you have other snakes, just try and feed her and if she doesn't want it, just give it to another. All my snakes are garbage cans even my BP for some reason now so nothing here goes to waste ever lol.
