    Foam insulation tape?
I have a tank set up for my firefly. I have temps and humidity dialed in pretty consistantly after covering the screen top with board from the base of a drawer taped down with foil.
Im just curious since i have a roll of this tape lying around if it would be good to hold in heat and humidity. I also was thinkingthat maybe it would keep her tank a little darker and more secure.
    Thanks for answeres in advance.

I believe it's better if you get a proper lid for your tank, so that air can pass trough aswell, as for the foam insulation tape... no clue. I do agree on keeping the tank a little bit darker, but it's better if your firefly has a chance to hide in a tight space so it can feel even more secure.
    Best wishes to you ;)

I have had good luck with making a cardboard insert and covering it with foil. I can then simply lay it on the screen. I like this because it is easy to take off which allows me to pour water through the screen to water the plants inside without disturbing my snake much.

Just cut it to the size and shape you like and cover it with foil.
