My son and I are interested in breeding... Wait, let me explain!
Sorry for the topic, I lack in the humor department... We have a Calico Lesser Pastel male at 818 grams that is a proven breeder. We are looking for a female that we could use in the future for some cool babies. We have A LOT to learn still before we can get started in the breeding process. (If we still feel it's something we could responsibly accomplish after learning more.) I didn't want to hijack pastorj's post so here is a pic of Donald. (We picked him up on Election Day.) What morphs would YOU look for in a female. My son very much wants a BEL so another Lesser/Butter/Mojave would be one female we'd look for but, I would like something else... I know it will come down to what we like but being new I'd welcome any and all suggestions. (And yes, I've spent countless hours on the Genetics Wizard;) )

    Here he is for reference...

Pick what YOU like, first set your goal, know what you want to produce.

Now if I had that in my collection I would pair him to an enchi , or orange dream or Coral Glow combo, but pinstripe and spider combos are good choices too.

That's a snake worth breeding! If you want BEL I would get Mojave combo so that you'll know what you get. If you do a butter it's really hard to tell what is butter and what is lesser.

No prob. I would also avoid mixing him with another lesser since super lesser BEL can have bugged eyes.

Butter and lesser really are just the same thing, and they both have the chance of producing bug eyes. Some bug eyes are worse than others. And most of the time, the bug eyes are only prominent in hatchlings, and they "grow into them" as they get older.

Hmmm that's a tough one, Deb already said everything that I usually say. So, to be slightly different, I'll say an enchi hypo. Enchi hypo calicos look awesome but I'm sure adding pastel and lesser would make them even better!
