    Substrate temperatures
    Heyheyhey

So finally got a temp gun (so much fun) and was wondering what the temperature of the actual substrate should be? I'm using aspen bark, but the substrate temp on the cold hide was apparently around 74 (I'm guessing it's actually higher since my apartment is freeeeezing and the cold air when I opened the cage probs made a difference), the air temp around the cold hide is 80ish, so quite a big difference

was just basically wondering what the temp of substrate inside the hide should be

Usually I believe people measure the temp of the floor below the substrate, because the snake can burrow down into it and touch the surface.

    Of the cool hide?

Any temp within the expectable ambient range is good.
