Brazilian Rainbow Boa Respiratory Rate w/video
Just wondering if it's rate is too fast... I'm a respiratory therapist so I might just be hyper-focusing. :P TIA
Here is the link to the video... PS, It's only been home for 4 days. It ate 2 days ago and had a full (one piece) shed 2 days ago as well... As far as I can tell I have the temps and humidity where they need to be.

It doesn't seem like it is in distress. If it is breathing clearly I don't think you have an issue. The snake is new to your home and I would still be leaving it alone to let it settle in. Im sure it was just a bit excited taking in all the new surroundings.

Well, by being in your hand and the fact that its a young animal will all increase the respiratory rate. Is it abnormal or excessive? I don't really think so. Nice looking animal.

Thank you both! I figured as much... I only had it out as I was switching something in its tank... It will be left alone till Friday's feed. No touchy! :colbert:
