    Hide temperatures?
Hey guys! So I just moved my BP out of the tub into the larger enclosure, so that I can finally use two hides
I was wondering what should be the temperature's inside the hot and the cold hide? And how big the difference should be?
Since I moved him in he's stayed only in the "Cold hide", but that's in an are where the temp is around 81.5 degrees fahrenheit (I've filled the cold side with fake leaves to make the cage feel smaller and snugger). The hot hide is around 90 degrees.

Did I get those right or is that too hot?

Those seem about right to me. Maybe he just feels more secure in the hide on the cold side? What hide is on the warm side?

Don't need to worry about the hides temps. Just make sure the inside floor of the hot side is 90F directly on the floor, not on top of the substrate. The cool side ambient should be 78-80F. The snake will regulate what he needs when he needs it.

what do you mean on top of the floor? I use a heat lamp not a uth. Those temps are air temps as im only getting a temp gun tomorrow

Oh ok. Thought you were using a UTH. Yeah those temps seem ok. They will move when they want to get cooler or warmer.

My hatchling spends 95% of her time on the cold side. My adult goes back and forth. They are all different.
