How long does it take for a minor burn to go away?
My ball python has a minor burn, she acquired last Tuesday. It's only a pinkish-red. How long on estimate do you think it will take to go away?

I don't know from experience, but usually any minor wound will fade with a couple sheds. That's for scratches and such at least, I'm not sure if the same goes for burns.

How did she get the burn? Is your heat source plugged into a working thermostat?

Yes. It's from when I transported her. I live in Canada and it's very cold right now. When I transported her, I made heat pads out of wet cloths and put them in ziplock bags under a towel in her bin. I didn't realize they were too warm.

Are you sure it's actually a burn, and not just a pinkish belly from going into shed?

Being it is fairly minor, Id say it would be gone in two or three sheds.

Sorry to hear it... but it sounds like it's being taken care of. Good luck! :(
