Feeding frequency ?
I have noticed the last three weeks that my three BP girls have been really food aggressive.
Their practical coming out of the tubs before I can even dangle rat in front of them and have almost got bite on several occasions. Any suggestions I have resorted to not letting my 9 yr old daughter feed them and I have to get them out of their tubs for her which I will say once there out their fine...
Iam feeding them every 7 days .
Two of my 300 gram females are eating weaned rats
My 500 Gram female is taking (2) warned rats since I have a large amount still left over...

Not sure Ive ever seen anybody complain that their BPs were feeding too well. LOL!!!
You may check the actual weight of the rats you are feeding and make sure you are giving a good amount to the snakes. They may need more.
But,
Some snakes are just strong feeders and will always hit the rat hard. My BP usually always gets a strong strike as does my GTP. My Bloods are a mixed bag as they many times just come up and take it fairly easy but then every once in awhile they will slam it. My BRB is much like my Bloods but when he slams it he goes all out.

Re: Feeding frequency ?
if you follow the feeding chart you are in line pretty much...
my 200g baby is smoking a 35g weaned rat every 5 days.. the breeder warned me she was a good eater, considering she was about twice the weight as her clutch mates, they werent lying. I had a defrosted mouse the other day i offered her - no dice, she wants rats and only rats.
Have you tried increasing it to every 5 days? At least until they bulk up to 400/500g or so?

Having ball python's eat good is not really a problem. The problem is you are almost getting bitten. Are you using long forceps, or tweezers or something long to hold the feeder ? I bought a pair of tongs, but also use a 10 inch long tweezers I bought at a pet store. I hold it with my right hand and open the tub with the left hand. But the time before last I dropped the mouse when he struck and missed. He almost wouldn't let me retrieve it. I finally did, but I did get nipped just a tiny little bit.

Re: Feeding frequency ?
One of my girls has been like that since I got her. If it smells like rat and moves, she about dive out to get it. Once she hit 1200g I bumped her from 1 50g rat to 2. And her response slowed a bit. So I bumped her back down to 1 and I think she's back to normal. At 1 50g rat per week she has been gaining 100g per month since she hit 500g. This last weeks feeding. I actually dropped the rat on her, and she still got it just as hard.

A 200g 2016 female is on the small side. A review of 2016s on MorphMarket reveals even males which are larger. What this says, if anything, is that her clutch mates were very much on the small side.

Too many variables to come to this conclusion....
Worry more about body condition than weight.
