Help! No interest in breeding!

Hey, wondering if anyone could give me some tips or advice. I have a male regular albino bp aged 4 weighing 2100g and a female Cinnamon Albino aged 3 weighing 1700g.. I can't seem to get them to breed, any tips would be appreciated, not sure if it's because my male is just lazy because of age and weight. The female is currently staying in her cool hide, everytime I put them together they either lay together or opposite ends of the viv (4ft) they show no interest. I would like to breed her this year having waited for her to get to 3rd winter and proper weight normally. Any help be appreciated thanks, pictures if need be.

I have also wondered this in the past so I'm curious to see if there is a "magic trick" you can do to get them to breed when they don't seem interested. I doubt that there will be but it'll be interesting to see any responses.

If your male is just stubborn and doesn't seem interested you can just put him with a nother mal for 10-15 mintues to get him more interested. You could also put another males shed in with your breeder male.

Mm, problem is I don't have another male only a younger female... Might have to wait till next year breeding season but such a long wait lol typical males lol thanks

Do you know another person who can provide a fresh shed from a male? Also, there are certain weather patterns that seem to promote amorous behavior. If there is a low pressure system approaching, (aka Stormy weather) that may be a better time to give them a go. The reality is that you are putting two animals together who just may not dig one another. Think of it as an arranged marriage. Sometimes they work and sometimes they are a disaster in the making. You can't force chemistry.

I don't :o & Mm never thought of it like that aha, well with the crap weather over here in the UK consistently cold & raining hopefully a storm triggers.. Ima keep pairing them until end of January if nothing then il stop, thinking of moving them to tubs not sure if that will make a difference? Thanks for replys

It's also possible you may be missing the breeding and locks. You can wait until she sheds also to begin again pairing them. After a shed by the female is when pheromonal stimulation is high and the male may be more inclined and aroused. :D

I would also double-check their sexes to make sure you don't have two males or two females.

It's very early, most of my males aren't breeding yet. Be patient and keep trying every other week or so.
