    My goldfish tank 55g
Here's a pic of one'a my other hobbies; fish keeping. This is my 55 gallon goldfish tank. There are 2 lionheads, one black moor, one white telescope, one true albino telescope, two calico orandas and three babies from when the lionheads spawned last year. And one albino cory cat. And a healthy supply of snails. :)
I know that some may scoff and call it overcrowded, but I don't care; I have had the thing running for over 3 years (in one form or another; started with a 20g then a 30g, then this size last year.) Same filters, gravel, plants. I have three high power filtters on here that have been constantly running since 2002! Whisper filters all tha way, baby.
I also swear by regular water changes; I take half the water out, once a week, religiously. And add salt everytime I add new water. It works like a charm!!
    Enjoy...

I lied, lol. There were only two filters running at the time this pic was taken. I added a third Whisper 30. There is an undergravel filter in there that's not in use.

Oh well that completely changes my opinion on your tank ... jk ;) Very nice. Have you thought about trying a saltwater tank. Those fish are a little expensive tho. I would like to try one, one day. Those look like some big fishies, especially since I have a couple of neons. (I miss my angels)

nice goldfish tank! i'd rather keep reptiles anyday compared to salwater setups. keeping up water quality and correct salinity,ph,alkalinty, specific gravity, calcium, and various trace elements can be a real pain. here's a couple pics of my saltwater setup i used to have.

Sounds like the saltwater was a big pain in the ***! That's what's kept me from trying. That and fish are cool, but you're right, snakes are much cooler!

yeah i spent more time on the saltwater tank than i do maintaining 20+ snakes and 15 geckos.

It's expensive, too! Everytime I go to the pet store I look at the saltwater creatures they have, especially the corral and other living "rock" costs an arm and a leg. Looks absolutely incredible and is definitely worth it if you have the resources and patience though!

Yeah, saltwater is pretty involved. My friend has a few s-water tanks in her pet store, and I'd say she spends more time on those three tanks, than her other sale tanks (about 40) combined!
