Head Scale problem? Bad Shed? Help!!
So I've had this snake for nearing 5 years now and she shed last week and this is the first time anything like this ever happens. I honestly have zero idea of what this is and the amount of times I've paid $80 for a consultation at the exotics vet only to find out I probably could have just found my answer online first is very frustrating so I'm going to try here first.
Basically (and pardon my pictures, she's a very wiggly girl!) It looks like her scales are sunken in near the center of her head? And there were no signs of this until she shed. I left it alone to see if maybe it was just a couple scales she could rub off herself but it's still the same. Any help/identification of what this is would be super helpful.

The pictures are not very clear but it looks to be possible that perhaps the snake rubbed it's head on a hard object and it may have caused some damage. Is there anything rough in the snake's enclosure?

It is possible that she may have a scratch but it doesn't look that bad to me. I wouldn't worry to much, it should clear up with the next shed.
