healthy and feeding just has always been on the small side but i decided to go ahead and pair them in hopes that she will add weight during breeding season

I wouldn't breed a female that small and never bred any that were under 1450 grams as I wasn't waiting 50 grams lol but she laid her eggs and weighed about 1600 afterwards but it's still a risk she may have eggs that are too big to push out I was shocked my female laid 11 eggs but we're small eggs half the normal size and why I don't recommend breeding a smaller female

Not sure I would have bred that young myself. Three years old and only 1200 grams? How often to you feed your snakes and what size meals? That seems fairly light for being three years old unless she is a picky eater. Personally I feed my female breeders twice per week, or at least offer food that often. I've heard of snakes dying from complications breeding too light, I'd be careful...

While the weight isn't ideal, I feel bc of her age that will be a factor that will prove beneficial. Her appetite and instinctual desire to feed more will balance out through the building phase.
