    Live plants?
    I'm thinking of keeping a plant or two in a small, low-to-the-ground, style pot for easy removal and hopefully smaller odds of being toppled over. Are there any in particular that anyone on here has tried and recommend? And are there any other general thoughts on why it is a good or bad idea to incorporate a plant? I'd love to have a vine and drape it across the back glass. Thank you!

    People have done it. The one thing is though your BP may destroy it. If you don't mind maintaining it then it'll be fine. The only other issue is proper lightning

    I have a UV light that I can place over the tank and test it out. Maybe I'll give it a shot and see how it works out!

    I agree,

    All of my snakes are adults and start at 5 feet long. It would not work for me, just total destruction. As it is I sometimes hear them knocking their large water bowls over from the other room. :oops:
