    Hi! I'm wondering if someone who has a BEL could post a pic of what they look like when they are preparing to shed? I looked online and it only shows after a shed.
    Willows eyes are still not milky, but are dull and some pink patches have appeared on her belly and back today - not burns, since her mat only reaches 86 and we use the heat lamp to boost it to 90.

    Do bel's get random pink patches before a shed?

    Yes that's normal especially on the belly... I don't have a BEL but an enchi ivory and she always has a pinkish tummy during shed

    My ivory gets pink blotches before shed. In fact, it kind of freaked me out the first time I saw it. Totally normal!

    my neighbor has a BEL, I don't have pictures but he gets pinkish when in shed, my pied also pinks in weird stripey spots on his white snake tush getting ready to shed.

    Ok, thanks so much!!!! I feel better now! Her humidity was low to high 60s and I just upped it up. Hopefully in time to get a good shed.
