Raised scales on retic won't go away??
My male dwarf has had raised scales for at least a year now. :( Not just one area, either, but numerous places. I believe this happened in his quarantine tub, as there were a few rough patches he could've rubbed against. I posted about it last year and people said it would get better after a few sheds, but he's been in a completely smooth AP tub for a year now and STILL has the raised scales! It's like they're not getting better at all and I can't for the life of me figure out why.

It's kind of an eye sore to me and I'd really like them to go away. Any ideas? Am I missing something??
Thanks, guys.

Looks like creased scales from being coiled up. Haven't had that happen with my Super dwarf but my ball python has those often. Good looking paint job on that critter!

Normal. No worries mate. Product of coiling and sitting for long periods. Goes away with sheds but comes back with coils. When they are adults you see it very frequently

They do look like vertical creases on both sides of the body, but they don't completely go away with sheds. Also he's a fairly active snake so it'd surprise me if he has "lazy lines." But if you guys say it's normal I feel a lot better about it. I thought my guy was just being difficult. lol
