Anybody have a ball python who isn't headshy? Karma isn't at all, and its weird especially because she's a baby! She lets me touch and stroke her head all the time.

Ours aren't either. We got our adult used to it but the baby never cared.

Broomhilda is on and off. At first she hatedddddddd it. Then after a few more times I think she kinda likes it! I touch her head probably once a week to show her I mean no harm.

My Bumblebee doesn't mind at all. Most of the others don't really want anything to do with it yet. They're all young though, should get better with age.

Mine doesn't like her head touched. You can sometimes reach up under her chin and rub it... But most of the time she doesn't like her head touched. I think she is getting ready to go into shed. She has been pretty irritable over the past few days.

My Herbie isn't head shy in the least. Probably because he's so smothered with love all the time. :P

Two of mine don't mind at all, even as hatchlings, and were my first two ball pythons. I specifically asked the breeders for "good personality, since it will be just a pet", and that's what I got! :P

My three ball pythons after them are all head shy. I didn't ask for personality specifics for them at all, and that's what I got! LOL

It's honestly not as uncommon as people make it out to be.
