    Live to F/T
Got my baby BP on Saturday at a show. The guy told me he was about a month old and that his feeding day is Tuesday. They have only fed him live and didn't sound to positive that he would do F/T.

I have a cornsnake and only feed him F/T and want to continue with my new BP. So today was the big day lol Got out a frozen hopper made sure it was thawed and heated up. He struck it and had it down with not a second thought!!! So relieved as I have read a lot about them being fussy eaters especially with switching.

Nice, congrats. Now I would switch to rats. If he does that then you're good to go.

The best time to switch is when they're hatchlings. They're ravenous when babies. Good job and like Neal said, take advantage now and get it switched over to rats. :)

I don't have anywhere near me that has hopper size rats. I may go back to the show next month and get him rats.

Anywhere suggestions for online that doesn't charge a pretty mint for shipping?

A hatchling BP can eat a rat fuzzy easily.

Interestingly .... Over here in the UK .... I pay £2.15 for a rat pup but I can get an Jumbo XL mouse which weighs more for £0.56 so that's 25% of the price of a smaller rat pup .
