One of my personal joys about owning a bp.
So I bought Charlotte a bigger hide from exo terra because she loved her old one but was too big for it. She'd always pop the top off and work around it to fit (barely). Of course she checked it out and then ignored it [emoji58]So this morning as I'm getting ready to check on her, I'm thinking I should try out some other hides to see if she likes those. Sure enough I open the cabinet and there she is, in her new hide. I actually said "alright" out loud just because I was so happy lol. There's not much I can buy for her so when I see her using her hides it just makes me feel great. When I say I can't buy her stuff I mean like toys and the like. lol wouldn't that be something if snakes played with toys?

lol that's amazing. Yeah I know it's hard to place reptile emotions but I know some have there own ways of expressing themselves. Like monitors I know some of the bigger lizards do seem to enjoy attention. I think the best examples would be tegus and some iguanas.

One of the things I love most is just seeing them grow and knowing that you're doing everything right. I converted my Mojave and my butter to rats today. They didn't have a single problem. I will be converting the others as soon as they're a bit bigger. The breeder near me either has rat pinkies or rat pups, no where really in between. But my entire collection eats every single time. They are all garbage cans, so I have no worries about switching.

Awesome. It's great to have eager feeders. Charlotte has never missed a meal with me.
