So I've read many different forums and articles that have to do with heat lamps and if they're good or bad for ball pythons. I know heat lamps reduce humidity but what if I got a black colored bulb would that help? I will also be purchasing a heat pad and placing it on one side of the tank to keep that side the "hot side" but should I also place a heat lamp on that side as well or is that too much? I am going to be having a larger tank so I know some recommend doing both to help heat a larger terrarium. Also what's the correct wattage? Is it 75? Does it vary depending on the type of bulb you use? I'm just getting a little confused with ALL the different types of bulbs out there and I want to make sure my snake stays healthy. Thanks!
