Looks like a horrible shed. A good soak will clean that poor baby right up. The current owners more than likely have inadequate husbandry. Good weight by the looks of it though. Are you hoping to buy the BP?

Depending on where the animal is this. right now the south east has been 6 months without rain so the humidity is way WAY down. As a result I'm basically having to soak every snakes bedding down just to get a halfway ok shed. It's frustrating to say the least.

If I'm looking at the photo correctly, looks like both eye caps are still on too.

Out of a half-dozen of our snakes that have shed in the last month, one of them had a really bad shed. He's never had a bad shed since I got him at Tinley last year. I don't know why this one shed was so bad, and all the others shed just fine, including one in an almost identical setup.

One hour in a tub with lukewarm water and a cloth for him to rub on, it will be completely off.

Hard to tell from the photo, but definitely possible. Retained eye caps are a huge problem if dealt with in a timely manner. Hopefully someone with experience takes that poor baby in soon.
