Hi I got a ball python 4 days ago she's a lot more tame sinse I got her. 2 out of 3 nights she escaped her enclosure so I made it secure. It has been seven days sense she's eaten I tried feeding her she would refuse almost like she was scared of the mouse. Its not bigger than her body.hes a month old born on September 10th is this normal?

It's a pretty common issue for a new owner with a very young BP usually it's husbandry related, if you have not done so do this to a T https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-hatchling-101

Can I keep her in a 15 quart sterlite bin instead of 6?

Smaller is better but if you put things in the larger tub to take up some of that space you should be alright. The key is to limit exposure and provide comfy places to hide.

Can you? If after being left alone, and offered live the animal still does not eat, this means husbandry will need to be e-assessed (temps, tub size, bedding etc).

Hatchlings that are well started are voracious if they are not it is likely that something is not meeting their needs.

Give it another shot, no handling for a week, offer live and go from there.
