    new and curious about my bp
    Hello I'm new to this site. I just recently purchased my new baby ball python and was told he was just a ghost ball python. Is that all to his name? Can you tell anything about him by his looks? Tia for help!!!

    Can't help without pics. Where did you get your snake from? Was it a breeder or Craigslist? Not a problem either way, but it changes the advice we might give. There is a sticky for how to post pics here:

    To answer one question, yes... "ghost" is a common morph, which is almost alway (ALMOST) short for Orange Ghost. There is a green ghost, but they aren't very common, as far as I know.

    There is also yellow ghost and blue ghost.

    I mention this simply as not all of them are genetically compatible. ;)
