    What type boa do I have
    Sorry about the quality of pictures but can anyone tell me what my boa is I bought her as a cb16 hypo but I don't have a clue what that means haha any help would be really apriciated:snake: [http://i67.tinypic.com/op43o5.jpg

    its short for hypomelanistic , there are 2 lines of these, the salmon and orangetail i think. not 100% sure, im still new to boas

    My boa has a orange tail if that helps I just want to narrow it down to a certain point of what snake I own

    Without better pictures there is no way of telling what your boa is. From those pictures it does not look hypomelanistic, but that might simply be due to the poor quality pictures. Additionally, determining the hypo lineage will be next to impossible without a known lineage for your specific animal. If hypo, it is most likely salmon, but sadly you have no firm way of telling. If you want to know as much as you can about an animal, buy from an established, respected breeder. They will be able to tell you everything you want to know.

    I bought her from wild world exotics as a hypo boa het albhino i payed $200 for her if that helps but that was the only info I got on her I only keep ball pythons and thought I'd try a hand at boas as I have always liked the look of them

    If you get a better picture we will at least be able to confirm that it is a hypo. The het albino aspect is something that is totally unknown unless you breed it, and unless you were told which line of albino (Kahl, Sharp, VPI), then any attempts you make to produce albinos could end in disaster for you if your other anmal is not of a compatible line. As I have always said, buy direct from the breeder and het the best quality you can.
