Thoughts on weight

So my female normal is a rescue. I got her from a local shop that took her in from an owner that had to down size a collection. They claimed she was a 7yo female but when I decided to weigh her today she is only 1010 grams. Everything I've read about females says one of two things to me; either she was not feed sufficiently or she is not a she. Opinions?

The age could be wrong, sex could be wrong or not sufficiently fed, or could be a combination of all 3. Another option is if she's a mouse eater or rat eater.

In order to determine if 'she' is a good weight we'd need a picture to see the snake's body condition. Pure weight doesn't tell us anything about how it's distributed. Long and skinny? Short and Fat? Just right?

Any and all the..... Weight is not a determining anything.
Many of us have fat snakes.....

I have a male I bought as an adult in March with no clue as to his age, but he was probed by a herp vet and confirmed male, even though he's over 5 feet long and 2200 grams. He's not really fat though, just a good eater. Just an example of how outside the norm weight, length, and age can be.

From what I can see in that pic it looks like a healthy body composition. :) Not noticeably thin anywhere. A pic down the back is best, starving snakes have prominent spines.

There is definitely no spine showing, I'm just wondering if it's normal for a female to be so small. I plan feeding her more, She was fed once by the shop I got her from and it was only one mouse. I have fed her once and I fed her two mice. This Sunday I plan on offering three. After she is comfortable with her new home, which she seems to already enjoy, I'm going to try and switch to rats but I don't wanna push to fast.

She looks to be healthy, from what I can see. Cute picture :) Does seem a bit small for 7 years old though. Maybe before the shop took her she was underfed and in turn hasn't grown as large as she could be.

My first thought is that it might actually be a 'he'. My boy is 8 years old around 1000 grams and eats just fine. In any case it s/he looks happy and healthy. :)
