    Color wrapping around pied belly?
So I noticed that the color on one of my recent black pastel pied hatchlings goes all the way around the belly. Is that normal? My pieds have traditionally been high white ones so I don't recall having any with color on their belly scales. Is this usual or fun quirk?

Thank you! I do love pieds! High, med, low, or no white they all have something to show. Heehee.

I checked my pieds and my two low whites have pattern from the vent down and this guy has some yellow band that wraps around. I wonder if yours will expand as he grows and not be as complete as it is now too?

I have a low and med white pied and both have a pattern the slightly extends onto the belly scales. Looks like it is a normal thing.

Very cool! Thanks guys! I just couldn't recall if I'd seen color on a pied belly since mine are higher white. Love to see the bellies. :)
