    Fruit Tree Branches?
I have access to some peach tree branches that would be great to add to my BP's enclosure - nothing that he can climb high on, just additional stuff to hide in/climb on/take up space in his tank.

Firstly, can I use peach tree branches? Are they toxic for BPs?

Secondly, if I can use them, how to do I sanitize/treat/etc the wood before I put it in the tank?

You can either scrub them with diluted bleach then rinse thoroughly and leave them to dry or you can put them in the oven at 250 degrees for 45 minutes. If you are worried about using bleach you could use white vinegar. Hope that helps!

To me it would depend on the source, and how much they'd been treated with pesticides, fertilizers, etc. - from a commercial orchard no way; from the tree in the neighbor's yard that doesn't get sprayed, I wouldn't be worried.
