Albino rats and mice producing more males...
I've recently discovered that my white mice produce more young and grow much faster than a typical mouse, so I've been slowly moving over to all white mice and rats, a portion of all litters is coming out albino in both my rats and mice. I recently noticed that a large percentage of the albino babies are males with very few females, has anyone else seen this??

It really depends on your lines. I've had a line of hooded that produced super well, big litters, fast growing babies. Over time, I found a line cropped up that were albinos that produced bigger litters and I held back a lot of those.

If your albino line is the best producers, then definitely hold back the female babies.

It's all about selective breeding well at least for litter size and growth.
