Lots of new first for us!
Ive got few new firsts that I'd like to share! So again, my fiance and I are new BP owners. We've had Sydney, our 7yo rescue, for two weeks. We tried to feed her after week one, in accordance with her supposed schedule, but she wouldnt eat so we left her alone for a few days. It soon became apparent that she was about to go into shed. (Apparent because of the most helpful info we've picked up here!) We discovered this just as we were headed out on a weekend vacation. I had hoped she would shed while we were gone but I wasn't holding my breath because the timeline of the process was not in my favor. Well I was wrong! We came home and gave her the new cold side hide we got her and she went right in. (We had a hide on her cold side but it wasn't identical so we got the identical exo terra rock we have on the hot side because I've read that's ideal). At this point I felt comfortable checking her hot side for poop so I could clean it up and what do I discover? Not only a significant poop but a full shed! I went right to the two feeder mice I had waiting and within 30 minutes she had them devoured! I was so worried about her all weekend and I got to come home to her happy, healthy, and hungry!

PS please forgive the lack of structure to my post as I'm very tired after our trip and posting from my phone.

Nice glad to hear. Seems as if all is falling into place. I've had my 2 month old 2 weeks and have had 2 feeds 1 shed and 0 waste lol. I feel he's saving up to realllly brake in the place soon.
