    Active after eating?
Hey guys, just fed my bp for the first time, and noticed it's pretty active (exploring and looking like he's trying to escape)
is this normal? I assumed he would just hide and try and digest after eating

Congrats on first time feeding. I know I was excited when mine ate. I honestly just turned the light out as it was night and covered him back up with his hide where he was before I disturbed him!? I'm guessing theyre all different. Some may stay in/go in hide, some may explore. IMO

I've gone through three feedings with my new guy and twice he ate and explored for a little while before retiring to his hide. Only one time he ate and immediately went back into his hot hide. I'm guessing, as someone else said, they're all different.

I would say maybe half of my BPs do this after they feed, often after they eat they will look around the enclosure for a little while then they will good into their hide to digest. It is fairly normal in my experience.
