In all seriousness, look for something that you find odd or like the look of. Everything from color/pattern (head, sides, belly) to eye color can be unique. The reality is that some of the best looking dinkers have proved to not be genetic and some of the most plain looking dinkers have ended up as white snakes when in their super form. You can't really know until you start working with them and pairing them up.

To really get a shot of something new you want to hand pick some fresh import however only a few people in this industry get to do that, you can also buy "un-open" bags of CH import, however people in Africa have always went through them, and importers go through them once they get here before re-bagging the animals by lot of 5 or 10.
Last option buying a dinker that someone that hand picked (can be anywhere between $100 to a few hundred $$$) so it really depends if you are much of a gambler you are and whether you are willing to lose a few hundreds for something that might be nothing more than a normal.
