    Frozen/very still bp
    Hey guys so when I got home from being gone for 2 days her head an neck were poking out of her hide not unnormal for her but not she hasn't moved for like 3 hours I took her out an she hissed for first time ever I then put her back in just in the middle an she's still there normally she's going to a hide on either side plz help

    Not an expert, but curious...

    Is she about to shed? What does her environment look like? Is she stargazing or just hanging out in a certain spot?

    how odd... Wheatley only pokes his head out when he smells food or wants to see what's going on. He's otherwise 100% in his hide when in his tank. :o Also

    Noodle yawn is cute x3

    The head poking out of the hide thing is pretty normal I think. My girl tends to keep her entire body and head tucked away in her hide, but my boy seems fond of poking his head out of the hide and lays with his head out most of the time.

    Very cute snake. I doubt anything is wrong. For most of my BPs, how far their head is out of their hide indicates how ready they are to eat. After a meal I won't see them for several days and by feeding day they can sit for hours with their head out in a "ready position."
