Do essential oils affect ball pythons
I recently got involved with essential oils for personal wellness. Part of this is diffusing the oils into the air for aromatherapy . I just got the oils today and haven’t started diffusing yet. Does anyone know if this will irritate my daughters ball python. I don't want to do anything that will harm her or make her cranky and cause her to bite.

I wouldn't diffuse in the room that has the snake. Some of those oils like tea tree can be very strong

It wouldn't be in the same room, but my diffuser would be in an adjoining room. The two rooms are beside each other with a double wide doorway.

It would depend on what you are using. I use them myself and most are fine, but some may repulsive to a snake. What are you planning on using?

I would not reccommend it with a ball python in the home where it is currently. If it was closed off in a room away from oils..maybe..

You could always use a personal diffuser instead of one for the whole room

Tree oils and citrus oils are toxic to reptiles. Do not diffuse them around the snake at all.
