Can't come to a conclusion what this guy is

So I got this guy a few months back. He was in horrible condition. Layers of stuck shed, plugged nostrils, the whole nine yards in bad husbandry. The Craigslist ad was advertising him as a silver streak but after shedding under my care, he looks way darker. I'm either thinking he's a pewter or a black pewter but I'm not too sure. What do you guys think?

Oh and he is 100% recovered, this picture was from his vet visit when we got the plugs out of nose.
