    Does anybody use chicken or quail a feeders in retics? How about the result in comparisaon to rabbits or rats?

    I alternate poultry parts and f/t rats for mine. They seem to like both equally as much. I did this in case of extended bad weather or zombie apocalypse, I have more feeding options. I did not want to feed only chicken parts though because maybe lack of internal organs would shortchange them on important nutrients. Whole quail should be okay. Poultry parts seem be be more completely digested. Long ago, I used to have a burm that ate whole chickens, feathers and all; I did not notice any difference from feeding mammalian food items.
