    Bite attempt? Caught tooth?
Yzma was crawling through my sisters arms, and you know how they are kinda clumsy and boop stuff? Like "boop oh...that's a hand...let's go over here....boop oh, that's a leg..." well, she booped my sisters chest and then when she pulled her head away, a tooth was stuck in her shirt for a second. Then she went right back to cruising through her arms calmly.

Did.....did Yzma bite or attempt to bite my sister? I can't imagine their teeth just get caught on stuff.....

My sister said it didn't look or feel like she had attempt at a bite, just a regular cruise and boop except for the tooth pull on her sweater.

There was no reason to bite either....she's a laid back snake and both she and my sister were totally calm.

(Sometimes her belly scales flick the wrong way when you are holding her.... could it have been a caught chin scale?)

Don't seem like a bite, they don't just bite. Would normally strike, and there could well have been posturing etc. Sounds very much unlikely. Could it have been a scale got caught? Happens every now and again, more than getting bitten anyway.

Snakes do bite so it's not out of the question.

Are you sure it was a tooth and not a scale? Scales getting caught backwards on things is pretty common, and they feel hard and sharp too.

I was wondering. I'm going to go with a scale, because they were both totally calm when it happened. Thanks.

It could have easily been a tooth. If the "boop" raised the snakes lip up in the process. Or her moving and the snakes boop moved at the right moment. Ive had my finger snagged on a tooth like this before while opening a snakes mouth
