    Mates.
I have a huge cage for my snake, perfect for her, but its getting rather duli in there. I just got a fogger for her, so now im no longer having to worry about her constant humidity wackyness. (loving DRy desert New Mexico). But her cage is so fitting for other creatures. Is there ANY animal or pet or frog or fish or lizard or SOMETHING that i can put in there with my Ball Python. ANYTHING AT ALL? She needs a mate of some sort.(Or atkeasti 'd like to think she does.;)

ball pythons are solitary animals. mixing species is asking for trouble and would only cause stress and possibly disease for your bp. perhaps you could do some redecorating to make things more interesting--get some plastic plants or a log for it to climb on or new hides or something for your snake's enclosure. their needs are really relatively simple, so any extra things that you do are really just for your benefit anyhow. :)

Are you sure that redecorating wont upset her, or send her on another hunger strike? (were going on six months now, and i finnally am getting her out of her depression.) She has been so dead, and finnally she's starting to come around. I wouldnt want to make things any worse... so im gonna try feeding her next week, see if she's up to it.
Still, going on no with the critter mates? Bummer.

oooh well if she has been on a hunger strike you may not want to change things up on her. i apologize, i admit i haven't been around as much as usual lately and haven't had time to read every thread. and trust me, she will be much better off with no critter friends. i'm glad she is finally starting to come around for you. :)
